Jammies at the Pool

We decide to spend the last day of our vacation at our resort's pool. We also decide that the Bear should wear his jammies over his wetsuit. Because clearly anything under 70 degrees is freezing. (This is Mommy's California thermometer coming out.)

Here is the Bear lounging in his Santa red long johns.

Sand time with Lolo.

Mr. Bear has learned how to throw with some consistency (read: it's only 20% of the time now where the ball lands behind him).

Lolo then decides to do some push-ups in the sand. Which of course means that the Bear is going to help him with his workout. Luckily he has experience doing this with Daddy and climbs right on.

Lolo abandons his workout plans.

It is now an acceptable 75 degrees and Lolo and Lola decide that it is OK to take off the long johns.

Mr. Bear relaxing at the poolside table. He wants to order a drink. Like soy milk.

Peek-a-boo.

Mr. Bear advises Lola on her pedicure routine. Mr. Bear is quite metro.

The resort has a mini-water park. Time to plunge in!

Being Florida, the pool is heated to bath water temperature. But it still too cold for Lola.

Mr. Bear does his little turn on the catwalk.

Lola and the Bear check out the mini-fountains.

The Bear counts each fountain.

Then he gives each of them a high-five.

He later tries to kiss each of them (this skill is taught by Lola) and then tries to sit on them.

After an exciting morning, we pack up and head to the airport. But even then, the Bear is still being the helpful little toddler that he is. He puts himself in charge of being the luggage pusher and pushes his piece of luggage from the hotel to the car and from the car to the airport to our gate.

Whew! What an amazing vacation! The Bear is now a talking machine and knows to give us a pat on the back when he gives us hugs. Pat on the back for you, Mr. Bear!
