New year, new perspective! It has been over a year since we came back from India, and I can feel myself becoming more positive about the experience. This also includes being more open to Indian food. For lunch, we head to Little India, a 20-minute walk from our house. We order dosa, okra, gobi, and curry. Yum!
Mr. Bear wakes up for his nap. Normally, he is Mr. Grumpy post-naps. But today when I heard him start to wake in his stroller, I asked him, "Milk or bar or bread?" Mr. Bear gave me a big grin and said, "Bread! Bread!" Here he is with dosa.
Besides bread, Mr. Bear also has a propensity for monos. In fact, his mono has joined one of the coveted positions on our increasingly crowded living room table. Here is the Bear kissing his mono.
In addition to kissing his mono, Mr. Bear is also getting in to the habit of patting while giving hugs. After kissing his mono, Mr. Bear gave the mono a hug and patted him on his back. Adorable.
Mr. Bear is also lucky to be able to celebrate Christmas in January! Here is a card from Nana and Aunt Corey.

You can tell how excited the Bear is by how far his tongue sticks out.
With all this reading, Mr. Bear's comprehension skills continue to soar. He can identify all letters now and call also do each letter's sound (for example, letter A makes the sound Aaaa). Here, he identifies all the letters in MAIL and then sounds out the word mail. Go Bear!
