Corey Wolf: Loved Daughter, Sister & Aunt

We are in Ohio now, sadly due to Corey's passing :(

COREY ELLEN WOLF
Loving family member and Marine Corps veteran
Corey Ellen Wolf passed away peacefully on March 24, 2016.  Corey was born in Hudson, Ohio, on October 31, 1978, to Michael (deceased) and Jill Wolf. Ms. Wolf graduated from Hudson High School, attended Kenyon College transferring to The Ohio State University where she graduated with a dual Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice in 2001.  Following graduation she enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, completing training in the Military Police Corps.  Later, Corey pursued a Master’s program at Kent State University for Rehabilitation Counseling. Her dream was to work with military members dealing with post-traumatic stress.
Ms. Wolf dedicated much of her life to serving people most in need. She spent many years providing direct therapy and hands-on care to autistic children in Columbus. Corey also spent countless hours bringing her beloved therapy dog, Max, to local nursing homes and schools to bring joy to the elderly and to children.
Ms. Wolf enjoyed cooking, playing golf, and reading. She also loved to create educational games for the children she served as well as her nephew to support their joy of learning.
Ms. Wolf is survived by her mother, Jill Wolf of Hudson, brother, Alex Wolf and his wife Analiza of New York City, nephew Bryson and niece Scarlet.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Summit County Humane Society
www.summithumane.org/Memorials_and_Honorariums or the Wounded Warrior Project
https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org/default.aspx?tsid=72. Supporting neglected and abandoned animals as well as injured service members returning home from conflict were two causes that Ms. Wolf deeply believed in.

Services and interment will be at Western Reserve National Cemetery on Friday at 9:30am.
