We took Scarlet to New Paltz so that we could take a bunch
of Bryson’s hand me downs out of storage. At the same time, we got a few gifts
ready for Scarlet to give Bryson. So far, she has given him a box of Lightning
McQueen cars, a polar bear poster/pin/passport/postcard, backpack, and activity
book. There’s nothing like bribery to win over a big brother!
Meanwhile, the Bear has been very vigilant about watching
over his baby sister. At Stella’s birthday party, he got a green balloon, and
he insisted on tying it on her crib so that she could have something to look at
when she looked up. (Her “room” by the way is in the hallway across from Bryson’s
room).
Pretty good considering that Scarlet isn’t the quietest
little sister at night when the Bear is trying to sleep.
