Happy Holidays from the Quiroz Wolf Family

Dear Friends,

We hope you and your loved ones are safe and well.

We are excited to share our holiday card3-min vido, and 1 second everyday.

For 2022, we prioritized spending time as a family as well as social impact. Analiza focused on her social mission of developing women leaders of color and her podcast Women of Color Rise. She loves her work, as well as the flexibility to spend more time with the kids.

Analiza enjoyed working with Bryson (10) on their second book Native Americans Who Inspire Us. We were so proud when Bryson led a virtual book talk on his own with a school. We were also proud when Bryson’s Hunter school chess team won the national championship and Bryson placed 14th.

Analiza’s flexibility also allowed her to do a Spanish immersion in Guanajuato, Mexico with the kids. We were lucky to find a local Mexican artist who cultivated Scarlet’s (6) love of art.

We are also grateful to have spent time with grandparents and family snorkeling with whales in the Dominican Republic and on a safari in East Africa

Alex took a break from his Mizuho treasury job and planned a weeklong backcountry canoe trip in Utah where we were able to completely unplug.

We are looking forward to next year where we hope to continue to live our values of social impact, family, and adventure.

Wishing you a peaceful and joyful 2023!

XX,
Analiza, Alex, Bryson, and Scarlet

Holiday Fun: Christmas Trees, Skiing, and Smores Hot Chocolate

Scarlet desperately wants to watch this movie. She's a bit obsessed with cats. Too bad I'm allergic :(

First weekend out skiing at Windham

Bryson asked if Santa was real. My response: Well, if you don't believe, Santa won't get you anything. And boom - he created this list. Yes, it's on the back of an Economist magazine. Didn't have any paper on the car ride.

Lunch with my Filipino friend Godfrey.

What's better than home-baked cookies?

Hot chocolate with smores cooked by a blowtorch (yes, really!)

We're at the Union Square Holiday Market. What should we try after hot chocolate? How about a nutella crepe?

Bryson's holiday concert. The Bear practiced the night before. For 30 seconds I'm pretty sure. Total.

Scarlet lost a tooth! Bryson urged her to ask for money. Scarlet opted for Pokemon cards. Fancy schmancy. Back in the day, I'm pretty sure I got a quarter.

This warms my heart.

Scarlet ready to rock - she got her brother's hand me down skis!

Killington for a powder day.

Making jumps - not me, the kids, of course.

Rockefeller Tree - that thing is 10 stories tall!

Holiday Hot Chocolate

We stopped by the Union Square Holiday Market where the kids each picked out a treat: hot chocolate smores (they burn the marshmallow in front of you) and a nutella/banana crepe

We were grateful to be able to spend time with people we care about in the Philippines. Here are a few positive highlights from the trip.

Much thanks to Tita Anne, Tita Carol, Sir Mark, Dada, Tita Shirley, and Uncle Alex for creating beautiful family moments we will treasure forever.

Here is our video from the trip.
