Just when Mommy has figured out the perfect way to measure out breakfast so there's no leftovers (she guesses how much the Bear will eat, adds a bunch more, and then eats whatever is remaining for her own breakfast), the Bear pulls a fast one and leaves her this.
Barely a spoon full. Mommy makes a note to double up on portions.
Tonight it's just the Bear and me. Daddy is at a Neutral Milk Hotel concert. The Bear asks for Daddy and when I explain that Daddy is rocking out, the Bear tries on Daddy's shoes.
Then the Bear and Mommy have their own rock show - complete with bongos, tambourine, piano...
And even some weird opera bear. Bryson immediately kicks him out of the band.
Then it's a DJ session.
The Bear does his own jig to the letter Q.
With all that partying, it's time for refreshments. Since Daddy isn't here, the Bear and Mommy have pizza.
And muffins. I try to sing The Muffin Man song but the Bear is too focused on his yummy treat from Nana to respond.
The Bear in his own turban.
The Bear wants out.
Time for bedtime stories - Barnyard Dance.
Night!
