We are trying to decide if we should get the Bear a balance bike. As a NYC baby, we don't want him to miss out on all the suburb perks - like being able to bike and swim.
After a few minutes on the balance bike, Mr. B bails and decides to walk the bike.
Sticking to what he knows best - coche rojo.
And dump trucks too.
Little Alex sets Mr. Bear up for some work.
That lasts for a minute before the Bear is back to his backhoe.
Pushing the backhoe along.
All the way to his collection.
Mr. Bear surrounds Daddy with all his goods.
But it's not enough to collect.
He's got to do some lawn mowering (is that a verb?).
And then line everything up.
In size order.
Almost a complete line-up.
Bringing in the big dog - coche rojo.
Lining that one up. Then doing a little Bear jig.
Mr. Bear counts his inventory.
And makes sure they are military straight.
At 7pm, we decide that to experience true suburban life, we needed to go to the pool too.
A quick drive, and we arrive at the high school with a brand new pool.
Good thing it is a quick trip because the pool closes in 45 minutes.
"Fly," Mr. Bear commands (I mean tells) Daddy.
Daddy and the Bear.
With little Alex and Uncle Chris.
"Jump," says Mr. Bear.
I love the expression on Daddy's face.
Big smiles.
Little Alex shows the Bear how to use a noodle.
Ready, set...
Jump!
Side by side jumping.
Little Alex is quite savvy at jumping.
College pals with their kiddos.
Mr. Bear gets some noodle experience firsthand.
Azul, verde!
Mr. Bear drags his noodle all around.
Poor little Bear crack.
Little Alex and Uncle Chris rocking two noodles and swim floaties.
Mr. Bear still obsessed with his noodle. Verde on one side.
Azul on the other.
All worn out and watching a movie together.
