One is never enough for the Bear. He has to have at least two push toys.
The Bear sees this fire truck not just once but twice as it pulls around the block. The second time around, the Bear is so excited, he holds up two fists and yells, "Fire truck! Double knuckles, Daddy!"
Later while the B is on Daddy's shoulders, Daddy smells some of B's famous treasures. They head straight home after that.
Being the productive guy that he is, Daddy picks up his skis while the Bear (and Mommy) take a nap. Daddy then makes a new recipe and surprises Mommy and the Bear.
The recipe is called "Not so fried pineapple rice." It has not just pineapples but also cashews, raisins, peas, tofu, and potatoes. Yum.
After our meal, the Bear and Daddy get in a quick workout.
"Wheelbarrow again," the Bear tells Daddy as Daddy tries to take a break. Daddy and Mommy consider a career for the B as a personal trainer. In NYC, these guys make at least $80 an hour. Not bad!
Mr. B is quite solid at independent play (to Mommy's relief). Here he is with his Legos making a bridge.
He strikes a pose.
Even cooler than his creations in Mommy's opinion is that the Bear puts his toys back.
Without even being asked. How cool is that!
Donde estan tus mejillas? The Bear demonstrates.
Handsome little B.
Pic from last night with Pal from Alex's college in Ohio. When we were in India, he hosted us in Kalcutta and we stayed at his father's hotel, a hotel boat on the water. Since college, Pal has produced a couple plays (we saw one in NYC a few years back), written several books, produced a couple Bollywood movies, and is now in NYC doing a comedy act. Wow.
