Bronx Zoo

Sunday morning wake up.

The Bear sleeps in until 8:30.

Fresh faced and ready to go.

Mr. Bear helps Daddy unload the dishwasher.

He then poses for Mommy for a couple shots.

Can you see B's little dimple?

Mr. Bear then squats on his books. Did you know he has over 100?

Taking a break.

Purple sippy cap in his hand (from his dishwashing duties).

We hike up to the Bronx Zoo - about an hour away.

We spot the coolest bird Mommy has ever seen.

It looks like a turkey and a dog combined. With cool gold and blue feathers.

Here's what the zoo calls it.

Mr. B and Daddy and admire more birds.

Then it's off to see the tigers. Though Mr. B is more engrossed in the tigers pond.

Mommy is more engrossed in learning about poop.

Mr. B's dino hat matches his backdrop.

The tiger comes close, but B is too engrossed in the fish.

Pescado!

Brown Bear, Brown Bear what do you see?

Check out this Bear's pose.

That same bear is in the background.

Mr. B counts the bears, "Uno, dos!"

Brown Bear takes a glimpse back before heading up to his cave. "Where did he go?" asks the Bear.

Ibex! (Mommy didn't know what this was until Daddy told her.)

Peacock!

Love B's face in this one.

Can you spot the giraffes in the background? Daddy found that giraffes walk with their left front and back legs at the same time and then their right front and back legs. Weird!

Snack break.

Up close in the giraffe house.

Checking out the camels.

With all that action, the Bear passes out on the subway home.
