We just got back from our 3-day trip to DC. I ask Mr. Bear what his favorite part of our trip was. He says, "Little Alex!" He loved his time with Alexandra, who is just eight months older than him.
Here is Chris (Alex's best man at our wedding) and little Alex (named after Daddy).
The two college buds with kiddos.
Admiring the waterfall.
We are at a national forest 20-minutes from Chris and Steph's home.
Clearer view of the falls.
The Wingader family: Steph, Sienna (5 months), Chris, and little Alex.
Starting our hike. Chris has a purple bucket not for Easter egg hunting but for little Alex to collect rocks along the way.
Chris and Steph think little Alex looks like her daddy.
Quite the runner.
Mr. Bear is not into running and tells Daddy, "Shoulder!" Little Alex follows suit.
Reflection from the sun in the pond.
Snack break.
Stegosaurus hat. Mommy had confused it with an alligator until Daddy corrected her, "Scales don't go down an alligators back." Details, details...
More shoulders.
Cute little couple.
Little Alex is also quite the climber.
Back to shoulders. Little Alex and Big Alex giving some knuckles.
Daddy reminds Mommy to take some scenery photos.
Mommy often forgets that there are other things to take photos of besides the Bear.
Mommy still trying to practice her storytelling skills (with a clear foreground and background).
An isolation shot.
Spring flowers.
Mr. Bear and little Alex sit in the flowers together.
Little Alex hands the Bear a flower.
Historic structure in the back.
Cherry blossoms.
Chris and little Alex climbing the bricks.
Checking out the structure.
Mr. Bear loves shoulders.
Daddy convinced the Bear to walk for a bit.
Among the tall trees.
Peek a boo.
Mr. Bear spies a hole in the tree.
Mr. Bear guesses what's in there, "Giraffe?"
"Yes," the Bear tells Mommy, "Giraffe!"
