Playdate with Ira, Boris and their twin kids Viva & Felix

I met Boris at Washington Square's toddler playground (i.e. "baby park") when Bryson was just nine months old. I was pretty haggard and exhausted (although I still am now!) and when I looked over on the other side of the playground, I saw Boris with his twins Viva and Felix, I realized that maybe my set-up wasn't the most exhausting. Since then, Boris has been a good playground dad of mine for the past two years. We had been talking of a playdate, and we finally made it happen.

We headed over to Boris and Ira (his partner's house) just on the north side of Washington Square Park, enjoyed a take-out (or in) Thai dinner, admired Boris' paintings (there is one of Brittney Spears pissed off - ha, ha), heard Ira's stories of filming (he is a director of independent movies), and checked out their nifty vacuum that takes up spills without a plug.
