The Bear's Playskool ad didn't go exactly as planned. Mommy couldn't take the time, so thankfully Daddy was able to accompany the Bear to Montclair, New Jersey.
Unplanned #1: Van pick-up 8:15am ended up being an hour and a half late
Unplanned #2: Smooth ride over to New Jersey ended up with lots of traffic
Unplanned #3: "Just a couple hours" ended up being six hours, so poor Daddy didn't get to work until 4pm and will need to work until 1am tonight.
All in all, the Bear was Older Brother Back-up #1. Younger Sister Back-up ended up shooting the ad since Younger Sister (original) didn't end up performing. It seems that Older Brother (original) ended up performing ok because the Bear didn't get tapped. He just sat in a room full of toys and played all day. Which I guess is not that bad for the Bear.
Who needs a national commercial anyway? :) The Bear is very cute and plays pretend phone, putting the phone to his ear and saying, "Hello, how are you? Ok, call me back." Silly Bear.
And thank goodness for grandmas. Check out the Bear in his new Hawaiian PJs excited to open gifts from Nana.
