Bubble Wand Lollipop

We head to the Big Park after school where the Bear spots a new ball.

He then spots a slide.

And creates a new game throwing the ball up the slide and catching it on the way down.

The Bear then tries to climb up the slide with the ball.

Which is tough - given that the slide is sandy. And there's the issue of the ball in his hand too.

Jumping off the slide to the sand pit.

The Bear then tries to climb the ladder. Also with the ball.

Later Stella's mommy blows bubbles for Bryson and Stella.

Mommy remembers about the impulsive purchase she made at Doodle Doo's and gets out the baby-proof bubble kit - the one that doesn't spill no matter what for kids.

The Bear gives a try at blowing a bubble.

This is his best go at creating a bubble.

Another attempt.

Almost getting there.

But then the Bear confuses the wand with a lollipop. Yum!

Silly Bear - still needs some work on this skill.

The Bear gives up on bubbles for the day and sticks to what he knows - climbing the rainbow ladder.

And sliding down the slide.

We head home and when we get to our front door, the Bear tells Mommy, "No home." And, "Go outside." I ask the Bear where he wants to go. The Bear tells Mommy, "Grocery store." Mommy explains that it is Daddy who goes to the store, not Mommy. The Bear seems to accept that, and after 10 more minutes, he finally relents. He is now eating cheese quesadilla (a specialty of Mommy's - read: the only thing she can really "cook") as she types.
