Mr. Bear & Daddy in White

5:30am. Somehow Mommy wakes up at this time, and it crosses her mind that she can take some sunrise photos. She quickly looks up the sunrise time (5:40am), grabs her camera, and starts running... in the wrong direction. Oops - sunrise is on the east side, not west! She quickly does a 180 and heads the other direction only to find that when she gets to the east side of the Manhattan island... it is cloudy as heck. Mommy attempts a couple shots but there is nowhere for a sunrise to be found.

She decides to take a stab at some panning practice.

Forty five minutes later, she decides to head back home and take a few shots along the way.

It then starts to rain and Mommy tucks her camera under her jacket and scurries home. But not before taking a couple more shots.

Mommy is also trying to practice other photo skills like getting the camera to make white look white and not grey.

After school, the Bear and Mommy grab a snack and head to the park. Daddy is at a Kellogg talk tonight, so the Bear and Mommy are on their own for dinner - Vietnamese takeout, yum!

Mr. Bear points to a bench and tells Mommy, "Eat there." I get his bahn mi out and the Bear goes to town.

Mommy tries to eat her summer vegetarian roll. But soon the Bear spots Mommy, points, and says, "Try it."

Tofu.

After our snack/dinner, the Bear tells Mommy, "Big park." We see Sophie, and they immediately give each other a hug.

The Bear checks out Sophie's brother, Alex, who is 6 months.

Another hug from Sophie.

And high five.

Mr. Bear plays on the scooter.

Playground time.

On the way out of the park, the Bear tells Mommy, "Statue." He then poses with it so Mommy can take a photo.

On the way home, Mommy attempts a couple more squiggle shots.

We also stop by a random new store that just opened a few months ago on our corner called Buddies. Mr. Bear spies a super pack of Cheerios and tries to lift it.

Too heavy so he drags it along.

He then spies a princess table, has a seat, and lounges. It isn't until we hear a fire truck that I can convince the Bear that we should probably leave the princess table. Silly Bear.
