Alaska Day 3: Haines

We are now solidly in the routine of eating, eating, and eating. We eat breakfast at the formal dining hall, then head upstairs for the buffet breakfast, then head to the formal dining hall for lunch, then nap (yes, Mommy naps with the Bear), then wake up for formal dinner, then show, and then finally buffet snack.

Good thing there is a port stop today!

Mommy gets lucky and someone asks if he can take a picture with all three of us. Mommy really needs to do a better job of asking people to take photos so that she can be in the picture.

Our ship in the back.

We are lucky to spot a playground not too far away.

We head to a museum.

Did you know that eagles are brown until they become an adult when their head turns white and their beak turns yellow?

Mr. Bear meets a bear.

Mr. Bear is fascinated by playing fetch with the dog. This is not a normal sight for a New York City boy.

The Bear attempts some spelunking.

"Puppy dog!" the Bear cries when he sees the dog jump into the water. It matters not how big the dog is, the dog is always a puppy dog in the Bear's eyes.

Good reminder for Mommy.

Yes, more rice. Oldie but goodie, according to the Bear.

Mr. Bear is learning how to count with his fingers.

Kisses from our towel - this time it is a snail.

Sunset in Crow's nest observation deck.

Mr. Bear dances and plays drums to the music.
