Today's title reminds me of the books I loved to read as a kid. The Berenstein Bears Visit the Dentist. The Berenstein Bears Visit the Library. With titles like that, who wouldn't want to visit the doctor?
Apparently the Bear is not that excited. He is especially not excited given his rough night - he woke up Daddy and Mommy and cried for two hours before he finally went to bed. Poor Bear. Mommy is getting her ear plugs ready tonight.
At the doctors office for his two year check-up. The Bear is not happy about his Hep A shot nor his lead test.
Thank goodness for kitchens at the doctors office. The Bear feels at home.
He checks out the appliances.
And puts the pot in the microwave - must have learned that move from Mommy.
How much does the Bear weigh in this time? Mommy is convinced he is definitely over 30 lbs. After all, her back is killing her. But she is wrong. The Bear clocks in at a light as a feather 27.4 lbs, 33.5 inches, and 52cm head.
Mommy does get the doctor to fill out his health form for his model permit (a new NY law). We are hopeful that he will one day get an actual gig so he can use it.
Back at the office, Daddy is working hard at his new desk with his new view. Mommy isn't too jealous because she is working at home on the couch.
The Bear is least jealous of all. He dominates the living room with his toys and here dominates dinner with Daddy's homemade pizza.
Funny thing that the Bear did - I called out to Alex, "Honey!" And the Bear mimicked me perfectly, "Honey!" He then ran over to Daddy and gave him a big hug.
