Sledding for the First Time

Powder days on the east coast? "Never say never!" as Bieber would say. Alex gets us a mountainside cabin, and we walk the Bear over to daycare, then click into our skis and head to the lift. Alex then rocks the moguls, and I survive - no ski patrol falls this time :)

Post skiing, we pick up the Bear from daycare and take him sledding. His first ever! (Mommy had thought about grabbing his old bathtub for this adventure, and Daddy had rolled his eyes at Mommy being cheap. Luckily, Daddy asked the daycare if they could loan us theirs and voila - the Bear and Daddy are on the slopes in no time. Daddy and the Bear almost nail Mommy their first time around.

"Again," squeals the Bear. Trekking up the hill.

Bryson uses his sock glove as protection.

"Again!"

Not sure who likes this more - Daddy or the Bear.

Daddy tells me that the Bear says, "Freshie!" and so he hunts down a completely new route.

"Again!" Seeing a trend here?

The Bear's tummy overrides his desire to go, "Again!" and they pause for a snack break.

The Bear slams down the PB&J sandwich that had been banned at daycare - peanut allergies/schmeanut allergies or something like that.

See that peanut butter on the Bear's face? He is saving that for later. For Daddy.

"All done!" the Bear tells us. Commands us?  Check out the pic below. Nice Santa Claus belly look. He is also donning the sock gloves real long this season - he is a NYC baby after all and on top of these trends.

Close up of the long sock gloves.

The Bear spots a puppy and the puppy wants to eat him. Oh wait, that is Mommy who wants to do that :) The puppy wants to lick him.

 My boys.

So how did Mommy get to take these photos? Daddy got her a new lense for her camera and fixed her oops drop mistake from last month. Perfect Valentine's Day gift. None of the photos were cropped, enhanced, etc. - these were straight from the camera. Here's my gift to Alex.

Daddy loves this quote from the movie, "Back to the Future."
