From Snow to Shining Sea

After another powder day with Daddy crushing it and Mommy weary of hiding ice patches, we pick up the Bear from daycare. He sees Mommy and immediately says, "Snack!" The Bear gobbles down his jam/raisins/granola sans peanut butter sandwich. Are the sock gloves a problem? No way.

Daddy is jealous of the Bear's tasty sandwich.

Mr. B, being the sharing Bear that he is, shoves - I mean shares - his sandwich with Daddy.

Bear kisses on the nose.

Daddy asks the Bear, "Want to go sledding?" Immediately the Bear squeals, "Yes!"

"Again!"

Daddy tells the Bear, "Smile for Mommy first," and the Bear gives Mommy a token, "Cheez!"

The Bear has a knack for turning his head sideways to avoid the frontal snow blow in his face.

"Again!"

Got some good vert on this one.

Daddy and the Bear take a quick break.

A break that lasts 5 seconds before the Bear orders/says, "Again!"

Whee!

The Bear gets some tongue action going here.

"One more for the road", the Bear tells Daddy, though it sounds more like, "Again!"

Last run.

Mr. Bear struts his stuff.

Rocking the long sock glove look - this one is a darker grey sock than yesterday with a tinge of green and some worn out threads at the heels. The Bear is going for the 1980s torn jean look.

Tongue out = Focused.

"Hand!" the Bear tells Mommy. Mommy is surprised that the Bear actually wants to hold hands.

As soon as the Bear sees Daddy, he tells Daddy, "Hand!"

The Bear realizes that he needs his hands free to sport his sock glove look.

Striking a runway catwalk pose, front knee bent.

The Bear allows Daddy to act as his body (road) guard.

The Bear sees a Paparazzi car and tells us, "Car!"

Flashing dientes here.

We get to the pool.

Here's the Bear sporting his dinosaur suit.

"Fly!" the Bear tells Daddy.

After a dozen "flies," Daddy's arms are getting tired, and he switches to trying to get the Bear to kick. Good luck with that, thinks Mommy. The Bear tells Daddy, "Again!"

And fly he does. Daddy tries to tell the Bear that if he tells Mommy, "Fly" that she will play too. Not so, sorry B. Mommy doesn't have the arm strength, plus this is Daddy territory :)

Hugs.

Smiles.

Smacks. (A new game the Bear made up.)

Don't think Daddy likes this game.

Daddy switches to High 5 as the new game.

The Bear shows off his six pack.
