Puke Machine

Alex and I have decided that three day weekends are the best. We can actually do a solid ski weekend and not have a harried bleary-eyed return Sunday midnight.

Today we end strong with a half day of skiing powder (rare in the northeast icy region) and pick up the Bear from daycare.

Here he is enthralled by the downhill skiers in the Olympics.

This motivates the Bear to show off his Bear moves walking on icy snow. The Bear lets go of Mommy's hand and starts galloping (in his toddler wobbly sort of way) across the snow.

Miraculously the Bear stays afloat and there are no spills.

Although on the five and a half hour drive home, poor little Bear unleashes his granola bar bits all over his clothes. Daddy and I consider him wearing a bib whenever he is on a plane or car. We estimate that he has a 33% puke rate.

We also estimate that on the spectrum of Type A and Type B, we probably have more of a Type A kiddo. Given that Mommy and Daddy are more Type A's, this does make sense. Check out how the Bear organizes his toys at the hotel. Even when we get home, the Bear immediately starts organizing his cars and trucks and airplanes.
