Given Uncle Rob’s affinity (and employment) in the aerospace
industry, it wasn’t surprising when Uncle Rob said that he’d be interested in
going to the Intrepid to see the Enterprise Space Shuttle. We spent an hour
just on the Hubbard telescope equipment alone (who knew that there are specific
equipment for each small task – there is one just on taking out washers to make
sure they don’t get lost in space). The Bear meanwhile poked his head in and
out of the exhibits asking to get his photo taken and then just as we tried to
snap the photo giggling and running away.
