Officially Closed on 445 Decker

Daddy's dream has come true. We now have a second house in New Paltz, just 10 minutes away from the Gunks where we rock climb. 445 Decker meets all of Alex's particular requirements - wood floors, wood beams, open kitchen, wooded yard where you can't see the road, lots of acres (13!), and even a pond.

We closed on Friday, Alex left for Cleveland to load up a bunch of furniture in a track, and he drove for 8 hours on Sunday where we met him at the house. While we waited, we took a "hike" around the property and checked out the lake. Of course, the Bear collected a few sticks, and he pointed out the wildlife - such as an earthworm. Poor little Bear is quite the City Bear and less the Country Bear.

Alex then arrived, and we hauled the furniture into the house. Poor Lolo and Alex got drenched in a sudden downpour. Afterwards, we headed to Rock da Pasta where we had some yummy vegan homemade pasta.
