Hiking, Leaf Peeping, and Biting

Starting the day off with a power breakfast of "nana" at Bryson's favorite spot (on a chair at the kitchen counter).

After an hour and a half on the Metro-North, arrive at Cold Spring and do some stretching (and grunting) before the hike.

Posing by a cute porch (a unique site for a NYC boy).

Daddy and son bonding time - leaf peeping, yes a popular phrase used by northeasterns to describe the road trips and hikes to admire fall's change of colors.

 Then passing out.

Then on the train ride back, Bryson discovered something that Daddy swears he must have learned from Mommy - biting noses! I couldn't help take a few play by play photos of this so you could enjoy it as much as I did. I especially laughed at Alex's grimace of pain in the third shot.

With all that fun, it's no wonder that Mr. Bear burrowed in for a nap.
