Somehow we survive the night, and I set out to hustle down
the narrows, this time picking up speed. We pass beautiful waterfalls
(drinkable, at least we hope since we filled our water bottles) and keep
heading south. We run into day hikers who are hiking from the bottom. We go
from having the route to ourselves (seeing only a handful of hikers everyday)
to a Disneyland where we see almost a hundred hikers – families, people wearing
jeans, people with fancy cameras.
We finish up, take the shuttle to the parking lot, take a
hot shower, and enjoy a Mexican dinner before heading to our campsite.
