Voluminous Vocab: K is for Killer?

As Mommy struggles to figure out what item around the house starts with "K" for the Bear's show and share, she reads over the Bear's report from his teachers. For Veterans Day, Bryson had gone to Daddy's work. Below, the report says that the Bear "has always [had] excellent conversation with teachers and peers but today Bryson showed excellent increase in vocabulary and comprehension."

Meanwhile, Mommy continues to struggle... "K... for kite? Nope, no kite around the house. Um, kryptonite? Nope, no kryptonite. Um, killer? Nope, that is kind of creepy..."

Eventually, Mommy ended up asking the Bear, which I suppose is the main point of the activity of bringing something from home.

Mommy: "What starts with a K that you can bring to school for show and share?"
The Bear: "How about keys?"
Mommy: "Right, of course. Simple as that."

And with that, Mommy armed the Bear with a yellow key for show and share.

The Bear's vocabulary is quickly adding on tools like hammers, saws, and drills (to Lolo's delight). He of course already knows money (Lola would be proud).
