We just finished with a jam band session with Daddy on harmonica, Mommy on bells, Nana on clappers, and the Bear on drums with tambourines.
Mommy asked the Bear, "What song should we sing to?" She expected Jingle Bells or the Bear's go-to song Old MacDonald.
The Bear surprised Mommy with, "I like to move it, move it."
I asked the Bear where he learned that song, and the Bear replied, "At school."
Hmm... Apparently, the Bear also is picking up some other fun culture/slang with "Yaa man," "Sugar dumplings," and "Baby love." Good stuff.
Today after nap, we did a mini hike at the Cascade Park. The Bear sat on Daddy's shoulders most of the time, but at the end, he walked Ralphie all by himself. Afterwards, the Bear checked out the playground including the climbing wall.
We then headed to Life Center for some swimming. Daddy has been incentivizing the Bear to get his head below water with, "Go under before flying," Pretty smart, Daddy.
After swimming, we then headed home for Pizza Night. Nana's cooking = Mommy gaining 10 pounds. Yum!
