World Maker Fair at the New York Hall of Science

What better way to start a Saturday with some naked baby shots, though not completely naked. The Bear is wearing his Cleveland Indians hat after all.

After swim class (where Daddy said that the Bear refused to do monkey arms and had a tantrum halfway through the class), we headed to Queens to the New York Hall of Science. The Bear had a mini-tantrum on the subway.

Hiding and pretending to sleep sleep.

At the World Maker Fair, a collection of hundreds of science exhibits and exhibitions.

A mobile crocodile powered by bikers.

A not very religious card shop.

The Bear freaked out with the crocodile.

Especially when its mouth opened.

Camel time, then picnic (PB&J sandwiches) afterwards.

Nerdy derby racing.

The couple who runs this is station is a nurse who teaches patients how to knit (to reduce stress while waiting for chemotherapy) and a radiologist who teaches kids about the procedures by mini-lego demos.

Making his own butterfly.

Mommy and Daddy try to get the Bear to nap by pushing him around the Queens park and fountain. Unfortunately, it didn't work. Later the Bear said, "No walking! No nap! Ha!"

This is a guy who made the game Mousetrap come to life. It actually works! At the end, there is a 2-ton weight dropped on the car.

This is from the movie Men in Black.

Game of Drones - these radio flyers fight each other.

A car with fish and lobsters that sing. The Bear was just as freaked out as he was with the crocodile.

Dressing up as a NASA astronaut.

We hit only 1% of the exhibits but enjoyed everything we were able to do. This is definitely a repeat for next year!
