Mommy was hoping to go canoeing and camping this weekend, but the forecast called for rain and when Daddy called the canoe shops, they said the Bear had to be at least five years old. Ah - rules.
Lucky for us, NYC always has something fun going on. The Bear and Daddy went to swim class and then we headed down 6th Avenue through a street festival.
We stopped by REI for some bike testing.
And kept walking through Soho. Here is the Bear doing some dare devil stunts.
Then through Little Italy. Cannolis and vegans don't mix... Sad Mommy.
Arriving at the Chinese Museum of the Arts where we made some lanterns.
Then one woman made some bunny origami for the Bear.
Plus a winged bird that actually moved its wings too.
Storytime where we learned about the moon cake.
The Bear is napping now. Then we'll head to Madison Square Park for their 200 festival. Never a dull moment in NYC.
