Charlie Chaplin, Daniel Day Lewis & Tony Blair

Friday surprise date night by Daddy. We get to see Charlie Chaplin Modern Times with live orchestra.

The beloved ballad “Smile” is one of the many joys of Charlie Chaplin’s immortal comedy classic, Modern Times. Enjoy it as never before when the full New York Philharmonic, conducted by Timothy Brock, performs Chaplin's complete score to Modern Times while the beautifully restored film is shown on a giant screen above the stage.

Daddy is on a roll with another great date night on Saturday night. This time with a There Will Be Blood screening with another live orchestra.

Paul Thomas Anderson's 2007 masterpiece "There Will Be Blood" is coming to the Palace on September 19 and 20, accompanied by a live performance of the film's score by composer, and Radiohead member, Jonny Greenwood and the 50+ members of the Wordless Music Orchestra.

On Monday, Mommy gets a chance to hear Eli Broad, Tony Blair, and Arne Duncan talk about education in the US.
