What did Mommy get Daddy for his birthday? How about a trip planned by Daddy paid by Daddy and completely coordinated by Daddy... and then Mommy goes? Sounds ridiculous? Yep, Mommy admits that on paper it does sound ridiculous. But that is before knowing the kinds of trips Daddy plans that are exhausting, difficult, treacherous, in tough conditions, and way harder than anything Mommy can really do.
Hence our trip to Sedona where we were in 105 degree weather, bushwhacking in cactus filled terrain (where Mommy got 25 cactus pricks in her calf), and rock climbing two levels higher than she was ready for.
