A Castle, Wagon & Dog Kiss in Cleveland

We are in Cleveland with Nana and Aunt Corey. Mr. Bear wakes up this morning to get a birthday present from Aunt Corey.

It's a radio flyer wagon - perfect size for Little B.

Tickle fest with Aunt Corey.

Aunt Corey explains to the Bear that we need to be gentle when petting Max and be especially careful not to grab Max's tail (the Bear is obsessed with tails and pretends he has a tail and then gets everyone else - Mommy, Nana, Aunt Corey, Daddy - to pretend we have tails too).

The Bear pets Max gently, wistfully looking at Max's tail, but he manages to hold back. Max rewards the Bear with a surprise slobbery kiss/lick.

Aunt Corey and Daddy's toys are still in top shape after decades (wow, that makes them seem old) of not being used. Here is the Bear putting monster truck on top of the castle.

Aunt Corey gets Mr. Bear a chopping board with fruit and vegetables. The bear makes himself a cucumber sandwich and pretend eats it.

Trying to decide between chopping vegetables or more castle action.

The Bear gets a real cantaloupe from Nana and tries to cut that on his play chopping board. Mommy tries to explain to the Bear that we don't use real fruit on our play chopping board with our play knife.

The Bear gives Mommy a blank stare and shifts back to the castle. He decides that monster truck and Thomas the Train need a special hiding spot.

Taking a play snack break with watermelon (the Bear then proceeds to take "bites" from all his play fruit, vegetables, and bread).

More tickle action with Aunt Corey.

Big hug!

Peek a boo from the second floor to the living room.

Max kicks back and relaxes.

Ralphie meanwhile is ready for some ball action and tries to get Aunt Corey and Nana into the spirit.

Nana and Ralphie play Ralphie's favorite game called Ball.

Mr. Bear loves his fire trucks. This one from Nana has a jaws of life inside. Sounds scary so we pulled that out. Mommy thinks it is a wrench of some sort that you can actually use.

Old school toys from Aunt Corey and Daddy's school bus.

Legos with Nana.

Making a bridge.

Nana helps Mommy take a few photos of the Bear for his modeling stint. We need to send an updated photo every couple months or so.

Mr. Bear patiently lets Mommy take her photos.

The good eye contact is from Nana reading the Bear a Sesame Street story.

Mr. Bear surrounded by all the toys Nana and Aunt Corey got him.

Last night, the Bear woke up crying for Daddy (Daddy is on night duty, after all). The Bear was a bit grumpy about having his diaper changed. But as he looked around his room that Nana and Aunt Corey set him up with, his grimace changed into a grin and he said, "Toys! New toys!" Daddy had to get the Bear to settle down and "Be patient and you'll get to play with them tomorrow." Mr. Bear is certainly taking him up on his offer.

Organizing a line of cars.

Making sure they are all in order.

Mr. Bear is in truck bliss.
