Twenty one thousands New Yorkers rallied to persuade Mayor de Blasio that charter schools (as public schools) should get equitable per pupil funding.
I woke up at 5am to meet 150 middle schoolers, parents, and teachers at Achievement First and head to downtown NYC. Surprisingly, we even had Questlove join and DJ for us. Hopefully the rally persuades the mayor!
