Original Pooh Bear at the Bryant Park New York Public Library

What to do on a rainy day? We had originally planned to see the Matisse exhibit at the Met, but that doesn't open until next weekend. So we found out about the Bryant Park New York Public Library a couple subway stops away. This library is home to the original Pooh Bear (and friends). We also were lucky to be in time for story time.

Lion Legos behind the Bear.

Murals from scenes around NYC.

The character Christopher Robin was based on his son. The original Pooh Bear was store bought.

Singing to the Wheels on the Bus.

Story time!

Pretending to be a snake.

Now a kangaroo.

Lion!

Clifford!
