We spend the Columbus Day weekend in Asheville, North Carolina, and rent a loft apartment on Chicken Alley in downtown Asheville.
The Bear wakes up and starts the Bear antics by trying on Mommy's running shoes.
This is the Bear's sleeping tent, which Mommy especially loves because it is portable and can be hand-carried on the plane.
Peeping out of his tent. The apartment has a fireplace (seen on the right).
Peek a boo!
Bedroom.
Bathroom.
The view from outside of our door.
Posing with the pumpkin and gourd.
Murals of Chicken Alley.
The street next door is full of hippie shops, organic eateries, rock shops, and local bookstores.
At the bookstore - the Bear is seated at an old school desk.
Obsessed with dinosaurs.
Daddy especially liked this shirt.
Pointing out the banjo and the mandolin.
Arts and crafts at the Park Square.
Lolo would like this apron.
Ta da!
Checking out the fire station.
Getting to sit in the fire truck.
1920s fire engine.
Personalized tour.
