A Fish Head, Fire Truck, Pachycephalosaurus, Hip Hop Class, and Symphony

Lolo, Uncle Rob, and “Boys” (as Mr. Bear described Uncle Rob’s friends) came back from a fishing trip where they caught lots of bonitas and yellow tail. Because of this, Mr. Bear got to meet his first fish head.

Today, we headed to Balboa Park where we saw a massive fig tree, visited the Botanical Garden, played with the ducks and fish, and checked out the dinosaurs, skulls, and rattlesnakes at the Museum of Natural History (we also watched three 3D movies including great white sharks, mummies, and ocean animals).

Afterwards, we tried (in vain) to get the Bear to nap by pushing him in his stroller. We got to the Mingei Museum where the Bear accidentally knocked over an exhibit. Finally we got the Bear to nap and we headed to get some Vietnamese before having him check out a hip hop class (where the Bear followed along by playing air guitar).

Finally, we headed to a symphony (San Diego youth championships) where we got lots of hard stares every time the Bear made a peep. 2.5 year old may be pushing it for an event like this one.
