While the election results were very gloomy (and the lines long), on the up-side, Bryson got to learn a little bit about voting thanks to a guest lecture by Quinlan's mom about the election (she is a law professor at NYU). Bryson had a choice to vote for an elephant or monkey, and the Bear voted for the monkey.
