Our apartment was in the new part of the city, so we headed on the tram to the Old City to visit the Hagia Sofia (was both a mosque and a church), Blue Mosque, and Underground Cisterns (in the James Bond movie, "From Russia with Love"). In between, we took a break from Turkish food (lots of bread and hummus for us vegans) and had Indian food. Can you believe it's been over 2 years since we came back from Bangalore? Still a very raw memory...
We ended the night by meeting back up with Uncle Rob, Aunt Lindsay, Hallie & Neal for belly dancing at Sultana's. The Bear had a good seat up front and got lots of eye contact from the belly dancers. Mommy made sure to take lots of photos of the Bear's gaping mouth.
