We spent MLK weekend with Aunt Corey and Nana (and Max and Ralphie!) in the Poconos. Besides great food (waffles, pizza, and chili), we worked on puzzles (darn that one missing piece), toured a coal mine (we learned that six year olds led mules in the pitch dark tunnels), and took the Bear skiing for the first time. While the Bear never actually got on the ski lift and head down the hill, he did (after much coddling) agree to do a little cross country skiing. We also visited the town of Jim Thorpe, an Olympic track and fielder and checked out the five and dime where Aunt Corey and Nana got the Bear a steam roller and convertible.
