It has been a wild ride through summer and start of fall. Perhaps it started with the eclipse? We've had lots of drama, including our daycare getting shutdown for the entire month of October and had to scramble for back-up daycare for Scarlet (photos from her babysitter below). It has been a slippery ride trying to close on our new home and being able to rent out our old apartment. Alex is switching jobs from Goldman to Bank of America and his first two weeks of Garden Leave were spent hustling just to make sure we could get everything done on the ground that I wasn't able to get to because of work. Whew!
