I had the great fortune of participating in Reality
Global, a weeklong trip in Israel sponsored by the Schusterman Foundation to
better understand the country and people as well as develop our own personal
leadership. Forty four of us from different parts of the US, Canada, and Europe
gathered together with one strong core value in common – service. Here’s a
quick rundown on the itinerary starting with the first day.
Israel Day 1:
Herding Goats, Ari Shavit
Arrived from Newark to Tel Aviv and then had a
leadership exercise herding goats!
Then lunch and an opening program
Then an overview of the
Middle East & Israel by
Ari Shavit, an Israeli columnist and writer.
Then a walking tour along
Rothschild Boulevard
Opening Dinner at Racha
Night out at Kuli Alma
