We pushed hard to leave the house early and were proud to get out by 10:30am (two families with two kiddos each is not easy!) to head an hour away to Fort Ticonderga. A great place to be since it was also July 4th. We saw fife & drum performances, shoemakers/dressmakers in action, and ox/artillery set-up.
