Normally we would be in New Paltz for the weekend, but Kevin
and Phil were in town for the weekend, so we decided to see them for breakfast.
Then at 10am, we headed to the Big Park at Washington Square for Sloan’s
birthday. Mr. Bear wore his shark water attire and immediately got soaked. But
that was after he waited for Sloan to personally give her a birthday present.
She immediately proceeded to open her gift – and would have started coloring
with her ice cream crayons had her dad not told her to go back to playing.
Also of minor (major?) news is that the Bear had his first
cupcake. Red velvet! And you bet, Mommy was jealously wishing it was vegan.
