First Week in San Sebastian

We arrived at our AirBnB, two blocks from the beach. It's a bit big for Scarlet and me (3 bedrooms), but it is just a block from school.

We are right next to the beach.

Our school. We both take group classes from 9:30-11 and then 11:30-1.

The school organizes group activities, such as a tour of the city. Here is Scarlet in Old Town, next to the Cathedral.

We hiked up to Urgill. Check out these views of San Sebastian.

There is a statue of Jesus on top of Urgill.

Scarlet is now Chef Scarlet and makes meals for us. While I have meetings in the evening, she makes us dinner. Here is a food menu.

One day, I came home from a morning run to see Scarlet making us eggs, avocado toast, and a fruit salad. She also has been doing clean-up too!

There are tons of beautiful parks everywhere. Every few blocks, you'll find a playground and green area.

Check out this beach art.

Scarlet loves creating castles.

Happy birthday to Lola!

We headed to an amusement park at the top of another mountain.

Scarlet chose the haunted house.

There was a mini-roller coaster, right at the edge of the mountain. It had no seatbelts and had a person in charge of braking the roller coaster.

Check out this person in the middle who has the brake for the roller coaster.

Scarlet found Mr. Crab.

Martina is her new friend from Brazil. They've had 4 playdates so far - just in a week!

The San Sebastian Cathedral, a block from our apartment.

We went to Bilbao.

Guggenheim

Yayoi Kusama

We are also taking weeklong surf classes. I'm so proud of Scarlet and me - we both have been successful with standing up!

Aquarium with Martina.

Vegan chicken fingers, hot dogs, and fries!

Tour of the city with our school.
