We did an 8-mile hike past some beautiful waterfalls. With Bryson at Nana's, we only had Scarlet to tow. Apparently, she loves being carried on her "The Ledge" and doesn't want to nap - she likes to be part of the action.
And action there was! Scarlet did a feeding, while I took out my trusty pump. And five minutes in, we heard some scratching 50 feet off. What was it? A BEAR!! A black bear was scratching at a tree. So with Alex feeding Scarlet and me pumping away, we got up and tried to get closer. Not sure if it was Scarlet's little whines or my pump pumping away, but after five minutes, the Bear heard us and scampered off.
