Since we're headed to the Amazon before Christmas, Santa came early to our house in New Paltz. Bryson was very careful to put out fresh vegan cookies (oatmeal and raisin). He was so excited when he woke up. He counted the presents, told Scarlet that she had 4, and then read a book. He had breakfast and then waited patiently until we told him it was time (after he cleaned up!). I was pretty impressed that he was able to wait a full two hours before we opened presents. Mr. Bear scored some fun airplanes, clothes, books, toothbrushes, and of course the long-awaited Star Wars Lego sets.
