Bryson has been taking piano lessons after school as part of Hunter's program. Here he is at his recital. He played Old MacDonald and Largo. Not bad for never practicing at home!

We spent most of July 4th week in Ohio. We saw beautiful sunsets, went swimming at the neighborhood pool, went to a Cleveland Indians baseball game, went to the farmer's market, and had a barbecue. We even did a hike in Pennsylvania on the way home.
Bryson spent two weeks in Ohio with Nana, so Alex and I had only Scarlet. That meant we could do bigger hikes and bigger bike rides. Plus even a swim at a hard to get to lake.
We also ran into a bear (stuffed and real). The real ones were behind our New Paltz house - a mama and baby bear.
Ava, Aleighna, Theresa, and Ritchie visited NYC for a week, and we spent a day taking them around Little Italy, the Village, Chinatown, Brooklyn Bridge, and Dumbo. Scarlet did a giraffe art project at the library. We headed to our rooftop for a building barbecue. And we spent an evening at Prospect Park in Brooklyn at a rock concert (Spoon).
